Client Service Specialist

This is a full-time position based in our office at Levens Hall. We are also considering taking on an additional person on a part-time basis.

We are a small yet busy and thriving local business, focussed on excellent client outcomes. We take pride in providing fair, honest and impartial independent financial advice, conducting ourselves in an ethical manner, not only with clients but also with each other. We predominantly deal with investments and pensions, as well as other aspects such as life and health assurances, and lifetime cashflow modelling. 

In the company there are presently 4 Directors who are also Financial Planners, as well as a Consultant Financial Planner and an Operations Manager, supported by 4 Client Service Specialists and a Paraplanner. We are looking for a new member of the team to deal with varied administration work.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of literacy, numeracy and IT, as well as having excellent communication skills.

The main aspects of this wide role include communicating with clients, product providers and colleagues, obtaining and collating information from the providers, data inputting, submitting and tracking applications and investment instructions and packaging letters and reports. The work which is in depth, and for which a Professionalism, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential.

Previous experience in a client servicing role would be preferred but is not crucial, and this need not necessarily be in Financial Services. We have a bespoke and comprehensive training scheme geared towards high quality service, enabling consideration to be given to candidates with less experience. Training and development are a key part of our business, not just initially but also on an ongoing basis.

The team have worked together for some time, so it is imperative that the new person is the right fit in terms of ethos and culture.

The working week is Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Holidays will be 24 days plus bank holidays.

The package will include an initial salary ranging between £17,500 and £21,500 gross per annum (plus benefits), dependent of experience, and will be reviewed on completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
